    It could be your …
It could be your hook, yarn or your crochet tension. I used 4 ply worsted weight with a size “I” crochet hook. You can use a “J” hook and see how that turns out.

    thanks so much TJW. …
thanks so much TJW. ive never crocheted before and you video gave me a complete walkthrough on how to. i have a question. i want to make another one. the last one i made was relatively stiff. is this because of the material i used or my technique? i used “kitting worsted 4 ply acrylic” yarn. i would like to make a a softer less stiff one this second time around. is there a way to do that?

    Yes, what you are …
Yes, what you are asking does make sense. You can do it both ways. You can put your hook between the chain loops or you can put all your stitches to the bottom of your chain, through the chain hole, crocheting around the chain.

    to make a single …
to make a single crotchet do u put the pin into the top hole or the bottom hole of the chain stitch, dnt know if that made any sense…i dnt know how to explain it. The top hole is BETWEEN the loops made with the bottom row while the bottom hole is UNDER the loops made with the bottom row. thanks

There are a lot of …
There are a lot of increases done right away so the cap is wavy. I am thinking about working on revising the beanie since it sounds like something that many don’t like in this pattern.

    I would not …
I would not recommend making the last round smaller. The cap turns out very snug from the start. You can alter your cap however you would like, if you need to adjust it.

    oh, another …
oh, another question…sorry…would you recommend making the very last row a bit smaller for more of a grip? also, i forgot th thank you for being SOOO helpful. i learn easily and quickly from your teaching, although my beanie is a little wobbly. i just wish my school teachers were so easily understandable, maybe i wouldve done better in HS, LoL. =) anyway, THANX A BUNCH, YOU TRULY ARE WONDERFUL!!!! (and youre going to make me lots of money)

i dont get it. the …
i dont get it. the video for Round 4 says “1 sc in the next 2 sc,” and then, the written instructions for round 4 say “2 sc in the next sc.” also, in Round 5 of the video says “1 sc in the next 3 sc,” while the written instructions say, “3 sc in the next 3 sc.” so, my question is, which version is correct??

It is the nature of …
It is the nature of the afghan stitch. It rolls on everyone that does it. You can add an edging of a single crochet or slip stitch which will help a little bit.

    I have a question, …
I have a question, “How do I keep controlling the folding of the bottom in tunisian Crochet?”. The stitches are just right, but, it keeps on rolling up as I finish each row. I hope you understand what I mean. Peace, RubyRosie1958

You are welcome. If you are making this cap and you want to change colors, you will need to work the cap in rounds so your color changes are even. It would be up to you if you want thin stripes or thicker stripes. I think two rounds of stripes might look nice.

    how do you change …
how do you change colors? and when’s a good time to change colors? thanks. great video!

If it is an 8MM it …
If it is an 8MM it will probably be larger. There are so many different sizes between the different countries, I am not sure. I do have a hook conversion chart on my crochet blog.
