Okay so to make it easier here is the pattern for the blanket: It is out of the book “Make one for Baby” by Carole rutter Tippett
Ch 131 loosely,
Row 1: (Sc, 2 Dc) in second ch from hook. *skip next 2 chs, (sc, 2 dc) in next ch; repeat from * across to last 3 chs, skip next 2 chs, sc in last ch: 130 sts.
Rows 2-124: Ch 1, turn; (sc, 2 dc) in first sc, *skip next 2 dc, (sc, 2 dc) in next sc; repeat from * across to last 3 sts, skip next 2 dc, sc in last sc; do not finish off.
